Inspired by L. Ron Hubbard, members of the Church of Scientology are scaling human rights education across Europe through
Youth for Human Rights International and United for Human Rights—from Copenhagen’s
City- and Ministry of Culture–recognized programs and the annual Walk for Human Rights, to the Church of Scientology for Europe’s
Brussels International Youth Summit, and UDHR anniversary events at the United Nations in
Geneva and New York. With multilingual booklets, films and lesson plans, volunteers—echoing the message summarized by
spokesperson Ivan Arjona—aim to make rights “a fact, not just an ideal,” blending civic service with a spiritual commitment to
human dignity from classrooms in Madrid and Amsterdam to the world stage.
